Can you believe that this is not a real wood floor?

Can you believe that this is not a real wood floor?  It is actually Karndean Natural Studio Oak and was fitted in this gorgeous herringbone design by Red Carpets Leicester.

Karndean flooring is a luxury vinyl tile, which means that it is hard wearing and easy to clean and maintain.  Karndean comes in a range of woods from soft light, mid and dark wood tones, all with realistic grain and knot details.

When compared with hardwood flooring, Karndean gives you the look of a realistic wooden floor but without the practical difficulties.  Karndean is easy to maintain and keep clean, no need for sanding, staining and lacquering as with real wood.  In addition, real wood flooring products come in varying quality and can expand, warp and shrink in reaction to temperature changes and moisture.  Karndean maintains its shape throughout its lifetime and is water resistant, making it perfect to use in any room of your home, including kitchens and bathrooms.

Would you like new hall and stair flooring?

There’s nothing more welcoming when you come in through your front door than new flooring in your hallway and on your stairs.  At least that is what we think!  We’ve just given our magic touch to the hallway and stairs in this picture.

For the hallway, our customer chose Karndean Casablanca.  Hallways are usually a high traffic area and a place that sees plenty of muddy shoes coming in from the outside.  Karndean is very hard wearing and durable and so easy to clean and maintain that it is an excellent choice for hallways.

For the stairs, our customer chose Cormar’s Tweed carpet in Indian Ruby.  Primo choice is an easy clean carpet and comes with Cormar’s 10 year stain and wear warranty.  An added bonus is that all Cormar carpets are made in the UK.

Karndean White Painted Oak looks great!

At Red Carpets Leicester, we have recently fitted this Karndean White Painted Oak.  Our customer was delighted and we think it looks great.

Karndean is a great choice of flooring for any room.  Whilst this floor may look like a wooden floor, Karndean is a luxury vinyl tile.  That means, unlike a real wooden floor, with Karndean there is no tricky maintenance to be done.  It’s also easy to keep clean, so there’s no need to worry about any little spills.  All in all, Karndean is so quick and easy to maintain and keep clean and so perfect for any room in your home.

We have recently fitted this Karndean Casablanca into a new bathroom.  We think that all Karndean flooring is beautiful, but this eye-catching tile certainly shows that floor doesn’t have to be boring.
