Would you like new hall and stair flooring?

There’s nothing more welcoming when you come in through your front door than new flooring in your hallway and on your stairs.  At least that is what we think!  We’ve just given our magic touch to the hallway and stairs in this picture.

For the hallway, our customer chose Karndean Casablanca.  Hallways are usually a high traffic area and a place that sees plenty of muddy shoes coming in from the outside.  Karndean is very hard wearing and durable and so easy to clean and maintain that it is an excellent choice for hallways.

For the stairs, our customer chose Cormar’s Tweed carpet in Indian Ruby.  Primo choice is an easy clean carpet and comes with Cormar’s 10 year stain and wear warranty.  An added bonus is that all Cormar carpets are made in the UK.

Would you like stripes on your stairs?

Stripes are a very popular choice for staircases and when you see how stunning they look it is easy to see why.

At Red Carpets Leicester we have just fitted this Gala Stripe carpet on the stairs and landing for one of our customers.  They completed their new look with Karndean flooring in the hallway.

Gala Stripe is an excellent choice for a staircase as it is a very hard wearing carpet.  It is also worth mentioning that it is bleach cleanable and comes with a stain warranty.

At Red Carpets Leicester, it’s not often that we get to fit a red carpet!  However, we have just completed fitting this beautiful Gala Red carpet to the stairs and hallways for this very happy customer.  Doesn’t it look great?

Have the best of both worlds with Karndean and carpet

At Red Carpets Leicester, we love Karndean flooring and we also love carpet.  There are also places such as a hallway and staircase where they work well together, giving you the best of both worlds!  We recently installed Karndean basketweave flooring in this hallway and complemented it with a carpet from our range of remnants on the staircase.

Karndean flooring is very durable and hardwearing so perfect for high traffic areas like hallways.  It’s also the ideal floor for a hallway as it is very easy to keep clean and maintain, so no need to worry if dirt is trailed in from outside.

Red Carpets recently completed another quality installation.  This time we were giving the Red Carpets’ treatment to Life Church in Wigston.  They chose Cosmo Regatta carpet, doesn’t it look good?

Another amazing staircase!

At Red Carpets Leicester, we have recently carpeted this landing and installed this beautiful stair runner.  Our happy customer chose Cormar Primo Choice Elite carpet in colour Mercury.  Overall, we think the carpet and staircase together look amazing, don’t you agree?

Cormar Primo Choice Elite is a twist pile carpet made from 100% Excellon polypropylene.  This means it is hard wearing, stain resistant and bleach cleanable.  What’s more, it is made in Great Britain and comes with a 10 year stain and wear guarantee.   All in all, we think it’s a great choice for any room in your home.

For the stairs, our customer chose Cormar’s Malabar carpet.  Cormar Malabar gives the look for natural seagrass and coir flooring with all the added benefits and warmth of 100% wool.  This is a hard-wearing carpet so perfect for stairs.  An added bonus is that all Cormar carpets are made in Britain.

Thinking about a stair runner?

At Red Carpets Leicester we have recently installed this beautiful stair runner.  The contrasting edging and white painted stairs really make a feature of the stair runner.

Are you not sure if you want carpet on your stairs?  If you have a beautiful wooden staircase, we can completely understand why you wouldn’t want to cover it up.  But without carpet, staircases can be noisy and of course carpet is much warmer to walk on.  By installing a stair runner, you can have the best of both worlds.  A stair runner is a strip of carpet fitted to the middle of your staircase. Unlike the fully carpeted option, runners aren’t as wide as your steps — leaving some of the wood visible at the edge of each step.  Like a rug on a hard floor, you get the simple and stylish look of paint or varnish combined with the quiet comfort underfoot and stylish woven patterns that only carpet can offer.
