Selling your house? Do you need new carpet?

When you put your house on the market, the last thing that you really want to do is spend any money on it.  But, sometimes it is worth spending a little to attract a buyer quickly and to achieve the maximum selling price possible.

If you have any of the following, you might want to think about new carpets to help you sell your house:

  • Carpets in strong colours or bold patterns – these are just not to everyone’s taste and can make your house look dated and rooms look smaller.
  • Badly stained carpets
  • Smelly carpets
  • Carpets in the bathroom or kitchen – most buyers like to see flooring that is easy to clean in these rooms
  • Badly fitted laminate or wood

If you decide to have new flooring in order to sell your home, we would always recommend a neutral carpet and vinyl in kitchens and bathrooms.  We understand that you will not want to spend a huge amount of money and this is where we can help you.  We have a huge selection of carpet and vinyl remnants in all colours, shapes and sizes, all at bargain prices.  Would you believe our smallest remnants start at £10?  We also have a warehouse full of carpets and vinyls, many at discounted prices and all ready for you to either take away or for us to fit.
